Its still Winter but for a selection of our earliest plants it’s early Spring.
A selection of water plants and many of our temperate water lilies are now available for mail order on the web site.
The first run of mail orders will be sent on the 3rd of August and then mail orders will go out each Monday as usual for the season.
Lotus are not yet available but should be ready in the near future.
Other plants will become available as the season advances.
For public and staff safety during the Coronavirus we are now opening by appointment only.
Visitors should contact us in advance to book an appointment.
All visitors are expected to follow appropriate social distancing and safety measures.
Visitors that arrive without an appointment might be allowed entry, depending on safety and convenience, but without an appointment it is not guaranteed and we may turn you away.
We hope to return to opening to the public more broadly as normal in future, though of course we cannot predict exactly when.
Our accommodation remains closed for now.
As part of the increasingly general coronavirus lock down we are temporarily closing our retail nursery, our open garden and our on site accommodation to the public.
We will post information here and on our Facebook page when we reopen.
We have shut down our mail orders on the website for the Winter off season a little early this year due to the coronavirus lock down.
Plants will be available for online mail order again next season usually starting for an early Spring in September.
Normally we would still have plants available for retail sale at our nursery but at least temporarily we are also closing that for the coronavirus lock down as well.
A selection of water plants, temperate water lilies and tropical water lilies are available again for mail order through our website.
We have shutdown mail orders for the rest of 2019 to avoid leaving plants stuck in the post during the December parcel rush.
Customers that have placed orders during this last week will have their orders sent out on December 2nd which will be our last mail out day for the year.
Mail orders through the website will be enabled again in early January in 2020.
Spring mail orders have been enabled on the website. A selection of marginals, temperate water lilies and lotus are now available to order.
The first orders will be packaged and mailed on Monday the 2nd of September.
More varieties and stock of lilies and marginals will become available through the season. But lotus stocks are limited and their mail order season is particularly short so get your lotus orders in quickly.

Many lilies are still available retail pick up at our nursery.
Temperate lilies and lotus will become available again next Spring.
